As we all know, Craigslist is where it's at for posting classified ads. Whether your looking to hire some people, promoting your services, advertising a garage sale, selling a car or even just looking for a date, craigslist gets more trafffic than any other classified ads site and thus giving you more responses to your inbox.
However, there's no bigger road block than posting a few ads and all of a sudden seeing this:
Especially when you realize the potential in Craigslist and start posting a bit too much and start seeing this:
So, like me and every other Craigslist promoter out there, your first thought is create a new account. Just use a different email, but then you go to post an ad and get this: THE INEVITABLE CRAIGSLIST PHONE VERIFICATION PAGE.
And since you can't pay for another phone line and Craigslist blocks WiFi numbers, your indefinitely limited to just that one account, meaning you can only post 2 per category per location. Not a very promising number for any real sales/ advertising agent. I, myself spent hours looking for a solution that works and most of all wouldn't cost me any money. I'm now proud to say, I manage and maintain around 10 Craigslist accounts and average 20-25 live ads at any given time. Best of all, I only use one phone number for Phone Verification.
Listen up, and pay attention now, cause I'm about to give you my secret to doing such a simple task.
1. First off, go to www.craigslist.com sign into your account or if you don't already have one, create one.
2. After you post your first listing, you'll have to go through the email verification, wich will then take you through the phone verification system.
3. once you've done that, then over a span of about a week, get as many listings posted as you can.
4. Every 48 hours, Craigslist allows you to renew your ads, bringing them to the top of the search page. Make sure to keep them renewed, for maximum results. once your ads have been renewed and it's been about a week since you last used your number on the Craigslist phone verification system, sign out and create a new account. you might also have to create a new email account, I recommend using either Gmail , Yahoo mail , or Microsoft
5. Once you got your 2nd account created, create your first listing and you'll come to the Craigslist phone Verification system, again. This time just enter your same number again.
See, the trick is Craigslist says you can't assign that number to another account for 90 days. But that's not true, for some reason. You can actually use it again after about 4-7 days. As long as you get a bunch of ads going, before using it again for another account, then you can just go back and renew them every 48 hrs for 45 days without needing to verify a phone number.
